Summer rentals (shoreline property, beach houses, waterfront homes, beach area condos, etc.) are available starting mid to early May through October. Vacation properties are rented by the week, monthly or for the entire period.

Summer rentals (whether of a waterfront condominium, a beach house or other shoreline property) require a very involved management team. Tenants who currently occupy the properties are contacted with notice that showings will be done. Potential summer clients are offered houses based on their needs (# of bedrooms, time periods, specific requests).

West Shore Realty, Inc. advertises summer rentals, interviews potential clients, shows rental properties, prepares summer lease agreements and collects all monies (including security deposits).

Regarding the summer vacation home and beach area summer rental properties, a list of suggested items for furnishings are provided. It is our goal to get the highest weekly rental price for your property ...and based on the requests we receive, we know what the client is looking for and will help you insure that your property is prepared. Our wide list of available vendors include cleaning services, carpet installation and cleaning services, painters, and repairmen to insure that the property is ready for move in. We can schedule any type of maintenance service that needs to be done at your waterfront, shoreline, or beach area rental property prior to the summer season. In addition we provide cablevision and telephone hook up coordination and other utilities can be switched over as needed.

Our expert property management team is available seven days a week during normal business hours to handle issues that arise; and we offer an emergency paging service for issues that arise during the off hours. This insures that small problems do not become big problems that cause extensive damage and large expenses for the owner of the property and provides peace of mind for the tenant as well.

During the rental, our office staff moves in and out each summer tenant. All houses are checked in between tenants. Cleaners are scheduled as needed and security accounts are closed out for each tenant.
